Tristan from Maiden America is giving 2 lucky readers a $25.00 Gift Certificate!
Here is some information on Maiden America:
"Maiden America hand crafts high quality, patent pending "Non-Slip" Barrettes and women's Limited Edition Handbags.
Maiden America grows thanks to the support of those who seek quality products and genuinely want to find things that are age appropriate for children. We thank each and every person who actively contributes to our success and to improving the quality of childhood, in America!

We are passionate about manufacturing high quality goods right here, in America. We love that we are able to have a higher degree of control over quality by producing locally. And, no matter what one's politics, we believe supporting our economy and our troops is the right thing to do."
I had the opportunity to try some of these great non-slip barrettes on my daughters hair. They stayed in her hair and look so adorable. I received so many compliments! They are also made with such great quality!
How to win-
1. You need to visit Maiden America then come back and leave a comment and tell me what your favorite item is.
2. Visit the "About Us" Page and tell you one thing you learned about Maiden America you didn't expect to learn?
Want another entry? Blog about this giveaway and leave a post that you did and where. You can also subscribe to my blog / be a follower / grab my button for additional entries! Winner will be picked using random.org. Contest will end December 8,2008 9:00 PM EST.

«Oldest ‹Older 1 – 200 of 201 Newer› Newest»Karen - THANKS! I'm so glad you had a great experience (not surprised but always super thrilled to hear :-)!! Thank you for putting them to the test and taking time in this busy season to do this! I see your deadline is in time for an upcoming sale - so your winner will get extra 'bang for the buck' if they shop the sale, Dec. 12-18!
Warm Regards,
Tristan Benz
Maiden America
ps - I'll get a link up on my site and blog asap for you and include you in a mailing I'm doing post-show (just did a show in Gig Harbor) - as I truly believe, what goes around, comes around...goes around :-)
I like the velvet twinkle barrette. I didn't know that all the products were made here in the united states.
pokeybear1@nyc.rr.com
My favorite item on the Maiden America website is the A Dahalia Adorablis bow. It would look great on my daughter.
I am also glad to learn that they only use non toxic products and are actually concerned and working towards solutions for many of today's current issues.
I am also a subscriber!
I just love the Flower Girl Bouquet set!!! It's a deal!! And even tho my little girl isn't here yet I would still choose to get her something over me!!!
I love her take on how princesses had to work to be pretty, no one looks at it that way but it's so true!!
Tasia
idofaces56@aol.com
I love the "Sparkling Tea Rose" barrette.
It was nice to hear Tristan say that she's concerned with how overwhelmed people seem to be now days. Good to know that there are others out there who think our world is operating at much too high of a pace!!
I also wanted to do a little pitch for Maiden America. I actually won another giveaway from a different blog and have several products from them. I just have to say that the pieces I got were SO darling and my daughter loves them!! We just had a wedding that my daughter was the flower girl in and I'd been looking EVERYWHERE for a quality barrette to have her wear. I was thrilled to find out about Maiden America!! Tristan was a pleasure to work with and I've been referring friends to her site. So whoever wins this giveaway should consider themselves lucky!!! You'll be getting some wonderfully made products along with great customer service. Ya can't say that about most places now days!! A special thanks to Tristan for giving these gift certificates for us to try and win!! Can't wait to see who the winners are. Thanks!
I subscribe!!!
I'm a subscriber!!

I love the Limited Edition Briefcase Bag - Blue Chenille & Tan "Stitched."
I am such a purse/bag fan. The Briefcase Bag looks tough and roomy for my everyday needs.

Thanks!

Oooo...you always have the best companies. It's so hard to pick just one favorite! I guess I'd pick the Velvet Fairy Flower.

I loved reading Tristan's views on marketing to children. Especially now during the holiday season, I see so many ads focused on children. Our family chooses to not purchase items made in China for many reasons and it is refreshing to find a quality company that is American made.

I am pleased to hear their products are made in America. Also, I support her views on producing products that are age appropriate for our girls. I too am discouraged by the image girls are shown these days. I'm happy to see someone producing products to encourage our girls to be little girls.
This company is very concerned with marketing tactics being used on our children and they want to help empower parents to make smart purchases.
