Time Out Pad Giveaway Closed

One lucky reader will win a Time Out Pad from Keen Distribution!

The Time Out Pad is a really great thing to have especially when you need a little extra help with the time out process.

Here is some information on how it works:

"Simply set the built-in timer to the desired time-out duration (usually one minute per year of the child's age) and sit the child on the pressure sensitive pad.

If the child gets up before the end of the programmed time, an alarm sounds to alert the parent or caregiver, and the countdown will pause until the child sits back down.

Once the full time-out countdown has elapsed, the finish tune is played to let everyone know that the session has ended. The child should then apologize and be rewarded with a big hug!"

daer0n said...: I'd love to win the time out pad because there is nowhere i can put my kids when they are "grounded" , the chairs don't work, the corner doesn't either, and the only place i can send them to is their own bedroom which is not really a place to be grounded to them, they start playing and that is not really the message we want to give them when they do something bad, so the time out pad would be a great thing to try and see if finally something works to make them understand the importance of good behavior! :)
