One way is that I don't eat meat. I stopped eating it about 12 years ago, and now I don't even have to think about it. It saves me from eating a lot of fast foods and processed foods that have meat in them. Plus, my husband eats less meat because we like to share our food.

Ha. That's funny. In my ATTEMPT for us to get healthy, we (my hubby & I) are not eating out, trying to make sure we get enough veggies, etc.
It's not working too well, but I am trying.

I'm buying cereals and breads higher in fiber now, and trying to up my intake of fruit...I really lack there..love my veggies but am not big on fruit....If I need antibiotics, I take a probiotic suppliment too.

I try to keep only healthy foods in our house...that way the only "options" are healthy ones. Of course, I still have ice cream or another treat for our after-dinner dessert. (we like to have 1 special treat a day) :)

Well, I have a lot of room for improvement, but one thing we've been good about is making fresh juiced drinks with fruits and veggies from our garden (well, all summer at least, the rest of the year we're stuck with grocery produce!).

Staying healthy is often difficult, but as a mom who is trying to keep up w. my child I find myself moving around more often than usual! I also think that finding healthier items to keep on hand as snacks is the way to go!

I try to avoid too much sugar and white, processed foods. I love fresh fruit and veggies. My thing lately has been apple slices with a little bit of crunchy peanut butter on them. Not sure if that is super healthy but it's good. TY for the giveaway!
